IWGA District Team Champions

Congratulations to the team of Denise Norwood, Carla Fitzgerald, Fay Petersen and Sharon Wedemeyer for winning the IWGA District 13 Team Play competition. This event was held on Monday, July 12 at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny, Iowa.

The fine play of the team resulted in them winning the Net Division by one stroke. Fay Petersen fired a score of Net 69 followed by Denise Norwood at 71. Sharon Wedemeyer finished with a 76 while Carla was one stroke behind at 77.

The team will advance to the state competition in a few weeks.
